Introduction to Evidence Based trauma medicine consistent with the Comittee on Tactical Combat Care (CoTCCC) best practices.

This class is essential for those who have chosen to be their own "first responder". You will learn to recognize and treat major trauma as outlined in the Committee on Tactical Combat Care. We will teach the PMARCHP algorithm. Instruction will focus on controlling major bleeds/hemorrhaging using tourniquets, treating penetrating and junctional trauma, properly packing a wound and using chest seals for penetrating chest trauma.
